Writing with a Purpose Writers' Group

Share your faith through your gifts of written expression and enjoy fellowship with other writers. Guest speakers will share their writing experiences and how it has been influenced by their faith. The class facilitator is Jane Ann Soetmelk.

What to expect: The fall theme for the class will be “What’s Your Story?”

We’ll examine the aspects of creating an effective story. Topics for each week will include the following:

• Setting the Scene
• Developing Characters
• Point of View
• Goal/Motivation/Conflict

Writing prompts will be offered. Feel free to bring a work-in-progress for constructive criticism. Both beginning and experienced writers are invited to develop their God-given talents. Sharing is optional.
